What Are Condenser Outdoor Units?

A condenser outdoor unit is an air-cooled heat exchanger that condenses hot high-pressure gas and rejects the heat outdoors. Axial fans move air across the coil; in Split systems it is the outdoor side of the evaporator / refrigeration package.

The AGA range includes FCH/FCV horizontal-vertical universal, FCW V-type, FCV 3T commercial, condenser units (16–275 kW) and NCH/NCV/NCW ammonia series. Coils use grooved copper tube (or stainless tube for NH₃) and aluminum fins.

Refrigerant options are R404A · R507 · R134A · R407A · R407C and NH₃. Fan supply is 1F / 3F · 50–60 Hz; EC fans and FMC control provide energy-efficient speed control.

Air-Cooled Condensers

Universal horizontal/vertical (FCH/FCV), V-type (FCW) and commercial (FCV 3T) series are designed for outdoor installation. Arrangements from 1 to 20 fans, grooved copper tube and 2.1–2.5 mm fin spacing provide high condensation capacity.

Condenser units supply the coil and fan section as a package ready to install. Commercial and industrial models run from 16 to 275 kW with horizontal, vertical or V-type condenser options.

NCH · NCV · NCW

Ammonia Air-Cooled Condensers

NCH/NCV/NCW series are built for NH₃ applications with stainless tube and aluminum-fin coils. Capacity is 12–2582 kW, with horizontal, vertical and V-type construction.
